      I'm Jamon Henderson, founder, formulator, herbal educator, and the hands behind every product you'll find here.

My journey into herbalism began in a place most people don't expect. I wasn't looking to become an herbalist. I wanted to learn wilderness survival, spend more time in the woods, and understand how to live more independently off the land.

     As I learned to identify wild plants, I kept finding medicinal species instead of food. Every hike seemed to uncover another plant with a long history of traditional use. Before long, I found myself spending more time studying herbal medicine than survival. What began as a practical survival skill gradually became a lifelong pursuit of learning.

That journey led me to become a Certified Advanced Master Herbalist and eventually to teaching herbalism through community education here in the Ozarks. Few things are more rewarding than helping someone recognize a plant they've walked past their entire life and discover the history and traditional knowledge behind it.

As my interest in herbalism grew, so did my appreciation for the natural world. My Christian faith has deepened that appreciation, and I believe God created plants with purpose. Studying them has become one way I appreciate His creation, and that perspective shapes both my teaching and the products I make.

Crimson Clover was built on a simple idea: create products with the same care and attention I'd expect for my own family. Every lotion, cream, salve, body butter, soap, and beard balm is handcrafted in small batches using carefully selected ingredients and traditional herbal preparations. I believe quality comes from taking the time to do things well, not simply doing them quickly.
